Biography
Sheherbano “Sherry” R. Mirza concentrates her practice on representing financial institutions and lenders on a wide range of finance, restructuring, and bankruptcy matters.
Sherry has notable experience representing borrowers in financing transactions, including financing insured by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"). She has counseled individuals, private equity, and venture capital investors to close middle-market acquisitions and operations transfer transactions with an aggregate transaction value of $600 million, including portfolios involving Accounts Receivable Financing. Sherry has also counseled clients on various corporate governance and diligence matters.
Sherry previously served as an extern for the Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service, Tax Exempt and Government Entities Division.
Outside the Firm
Sherry enjoys growing tropical plants and learning different dance genres.
