Rodney Bedow is, first and foremost, a problem solver. He solves intricate and potentially costly issues arising under the Internal Revenue Code and the tax laws of the various states.
Rodney’s tax practice focuses on:
- Planning and transactions involving Subchapter C corporations, Subchapter S corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies
- Choice of entity considerations
- U.S.-international tax matters (inbound and outbound)
- Issuances of equity-based compensation
- Federal, state, and local tax audit defense and administrative appeals
Rodney regularly advises private equity firms, public companies, family-owned businesses, and entrepreneurs regarding tax matters throughout the business life cycle.
Rodney’s view is that the tax law does not always cause a rational or reasonable result and its application is not intuitive. He prides himself on sorting out the tax law puzzle for his clients, conveying tax concepts in relatable business terms, and providing practical and actionable advice.
Rodney spent several years working in industry at large multinational organizations (both public and private) in the aerospace and defense and software sectors.
