Robert Shinehouse concentrates his practice on business litigation. He has experience litigating all types of disputes in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, including:
- Claims for breach of contract, fraud, and business torts
- Product liability
- Intellectual property
Robert was previously a judicial intern for the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg with the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Prior to law school, Robert worked for two years as a paralegal for a large, national law firm, assisting with complex class action matters.
Robert plays an active role in Blank Rome’s pro bono program, having devoted over 100 hours to pro bono causes each year since joining the firm. Robert has volunteered with the Pennsylvania Innocence Project, which works to secure exonerations for the wrongfully convicted, in addition to serving small business owners in the Philadelphia area in need of legal assistance.
While obtaining his undergraduate degree, as part of the Honor Advocate Program, Robert represented students accused of violating Washington and Lee University’s honor system.
Outside the Firm
Robert enjoys tennis, pickleball, golf, board games, and all things Philadelphia sports.
