Zara H. Shore

Biography

Zara H. Shore concentrates her practice on high-stakes litigation and counseling involving emerging issues in labor and employment. She has a significant focus on litigating wage and hour class and collective actions and counseling employers on complex labor and employment issues.

Zara represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including claims regarding joint employment, overtime compensation, off-the-clock work, misclassification, and meal and rest breaks. She also represents clients in connection with discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims; reductions-in-force and other termination disputes; employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions; leave issues; and general wage and hour compliance. Her clients include Fortune 500 companies and employers in a number of industries, including retail, technology, finance, energy, and entertainment.

Outside of labor & employment matters, Zara has an active pro bono practice, most notably including matters focusing on criminal justice reform and constitutional rights.
