Charles Marion Appointed Franchise Law Committee Co-Chair of Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Section

Chuck MarionBlank Rome Partner Charles S. Marion has been appointed to serve as co-chair of the Franchise Law Committee of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Business Law Section.

The Franchise Law Committee focuses on the current and emerging issues and topics of interest to the franchise and business communities, along with the legal implications and trends facing franchisors, franchisees, and those desiring to develop franchise or distribution system, as well as those looking to invest in franchise systems. In his role as co-chair, Charles will facilitate the exchange of views and information on these topics and areas of concern by helping to provide high quality educational programs and publications on the legal aspects of franchise law.

At Blank Rome, Charles focuses his practice in the areas of franchise litigation, complex business litigation, intellectual property litigation and website accessibility and other litigation brought under the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Long active with the Philadelphia Bar Association, Charles is past chair of its Federal Courts Committee, led several investigative teams for its Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention, served on a special task force studying the economic impact of lawyers on the City of Philadelphia, and was an elected member of the executive committee of the Young Lawyers’ Division.
