Benjamin R. Reyes Presented with Blank Rome’s Pro Bono Rising Star Award
Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that associate Benjamin R. Reyes was presented with the firm’s annual Pro Bono Rising Star Award, which recognizes an associate whose dedication to pro bono has had a tremendous impact on pro bono clients and the firm.
Immediately upon joining Blank Rome in 2022 as a first-year associate, Ben became involved in the firm’s pro bono practice. Last year, Ben was honored as a “Pro Bono Hero” at our D.C. Pro Bono Recognition event for his outstanding work on an asylum matter. He continues to be a very active, and dedicated, asylum volunteer.
Ben is also recognized for his role in researching and drafting an important amicus brief that was submitted to the United States Supreme Court, which involved the issue of the criminalization of homelessness. Ben’s excellent leadership skills and diligence made it possible for his team to meet a tight deadline and deliver a work product that the firm could be incredibly proud of.
