Blank Rome's Marilyn Chinitz to Be Honored with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation’s “Woman of Distinction in Law" Award

Blank Rome Partner Marilyn Chinitz will be honored with the “Woman of Distinction in Law” award at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation 24th Annual Women of Distinction Awards Luncheon, held on April 20, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City.

The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (“CCFA”) is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Their annual fashion show and women’s luncheon is produced by their fashion show partner, Moda Operandi, and honors distinguished women from various fields that are committed to the organization’s mission.


Ms. Chinitz is an active member of CCFA - Greater New York Chapter. In 2015, she served as co-chair of their Broadway's Got Guts event, and in 2014, she was honored with the Suzanne Rosenthal Humanitarian Award at their Cocktails for the Cause event.

At Blank Rome, Ms. Chinitz concentrates her practice almost exclusively in family law, with particular emphasis on complex divorce actions. Ms. Chinitz has 30 years of experience in handling diverse transactional matters in matrimonial law and has been involved in numerous high profile celebrity cases that have received national and international attention.
