Daniel “Casey” Jones is a trial attorney who focuses his practice on litigating complex matters, including transportation, asbestos litigation, products liability, mass torts, and toxic torts. He serves as national counsel for the former Penn Central Railroad, defending the company against occupational exposure and repetitive stress cases brought under the Federal Employers’ Liability Act (“FELA”), and in that role, serves as First Chair at all trials brought against the client. Casey is also National Counsel for American Premier Underwriters handling asbestos claims brought against the company. Casey also has significant experience defending occupational exposure claims brought by plaintiffs under the Jones Act.
Casey has a broad range of litigation experience, having represented clients as national and regional counsel in FELA, asbestos, diacetyl/butter flavoring, tobacco, and Phentermine litigation. He has defended claims in over 20 different state and federal courts involving a wide variety of injuries, as well as claims seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
