David Cohen

Biography

David Cohen practices in the following areas:

  • Commercial litigation
  • Toxic tort and products liability litigation
  • Complex litigation
  • Mediation

David is a court-appointed arbitrator and mediator, and is admitted to practice in Texas and New York state and federal district and appeals courts.

Before attending law school, David received a Ph.D. in the field of Linguistics and was a Fulbright Fellow and taught at the University of Wisconsin (Milwaukee).

He has held an adjunct faculty position with the University of Texas School of Law, where he taught negotiation and mediation

While in law school, David was an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review, a Chancellor, and member of the Order of the Coif.

Experience

  • Representation of clients with a variety of matters, ranging from civil and criminal antitrust trials, shareholder and securities litigation, and business planning transactions and contract disputes.
