Blank Rome Welcomes New Consumer Finance Associate Susan Kuruvilla in New York

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Susan Kuruvilla has joined the firm’s New York office as an associate in the Financial Institutions Litigation and Regulatory Compliance (“FILARC”) group. Susan joins from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP.

Susan concentrates her practice on financial institutions litigation and regulatory compliance matters, with a particular focus on representing mortgage loan servicers, lenders, and other financial institutions in all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution. She has experience litigating complex commercial actions concerning lender liability, consumer fraud, and violations of federal and state consumer protection statutes and regulations.

Admitted to practice in New York, Susan received her J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law (“OU Law”) and her B.A. from New York University. Susan is a member of the Young Alumni Advisory & Pro Bono Council for the Center for International Business and Human Rights at OU Law. Before starting her legal career, Susan served as co-founder of a healthcare clinic that focused on access to basic care to rural communities in India.
