Allison Friend is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Blank Rome, bringing more than 15 years of experience to the Firm.
Allison is responsible for developing and implementing the Firm’s human resources strategies and ensuring their alignment with Blank Rome’s strategic growth plans. Her focus will be on driving and developing innovative, industry leading programs and approaches surrounding professional development, recruiting efforts, human resources functions, and diversity initiatives for all members of the Firm.
Prior to Blank Rome, Allison served as Goodwin Procter LLP's first Chief Human Resources Officer for seven years. She was responsible for developing and implementing a Firm-wide human resources strategy for their lawyers, paralegals, and support staff. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Allison served as corporate counsel for the employment law group at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, and later served as manager of human resources for Liberty Mutual’s national group market business unit. Before joining Liberty Mutual, Allison was an associate in Goodwin Procter’s labor and employment practice group.
Allison received her J.D. from The George Washington University National Law Center and her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
