Blank Rome Women’s Forum is designed to provide our women lawyers with valuable networking, educational, and mentoring opportunities that support and promote career advancement, leadership development, and overall strategies to succeed—both inside and outside of the Firm.
We are proud that our women lawyers are consistently ranked and recognized for their professional accomplishments in their respective fields of practice by the likes of Chambers and Partners, Law360, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers, among others. Equally as important, Women’s Forum members are active in the Bar, their communities, and generous in their support of one another.
Through the Women’s Forum’s quarterly meetings, monthly “Call of the Month” Program, Lunch Circle Program, and other enrichment activities, we work to meet our goals, which include fostering the next generation of women leaders in the Firm, supporting women in business development, creating a positive and supportive network of women, highlighting our successes, and working together to advance the Firm’s overall strategic plan.
In 2015, the Women’s Forum was honored to announce that Blank Rome was named one of the “50 Best Law Firms for Women” in the 2015 Best Law Firms for Women rankings by Working Mother and Flex-Time Lawyers. This terrific ranking was earned in recognition of Blank Rome’s family-friendly policies and career and business development initiatives—such as the Firm’s alternative work arrangements, our participation in the OnRamp Fellowship program, and our various Women’s Forum’s programs.

Blank Rome LLP Associate Kathy Herman is quoted in the InsideCounsel article, “OnRamp Fellowship helps women attorneys to re-enter the workforce.”
The OnRamp Fellowship program lets women attorneys re-enter the workforce through one-year, paid positions with law firms. The program is one of the few options for women who want to come back to the practice of law after stepping away for an extended period of time.
