Blank Rome Deal Listed as One of “Top Multi-Family Transactions in 2006”
Blank Rome represented a DRA Advisors LLC fund in the purchase of an 85% stake in a nine-property portfolio from Camden Property Trust on October 21, 2006. The February 21, 2007 Real Estate Alert declared the deal one of the “Top Multi-Family Transactions in 2006.”
Camden retained a 15% ownership interest in the joint venture and will continue to serve as the property manager for the portfolio. The properties are located in the Midwest and comprise 3,237 residential units. Financing consisted of Missouri and Kentucky multifamily revenue bonds as well as mortgages provided by Fannie Mae.
