$1.7 Billion Office REIT Acquisition
September 27, 2005Blank Rome represented a fund consisting of clients of DRA Advisors LLC in the acquisition and privatization of CRT Properties, Inc., a publicly traded office REIT. The transaction was valued at $1.7 billion.
CRT Properties, Inc. owned 137 office buildings located in more than 25 office projects in a dozen metropolitan areas across the U.S. Our client, DRA Advisors, specializes in real estate investment management services for institutional and private investors, including pension funds, university endowments, foundations and insurance companies. DRA Advisors currently manages $8 billion in assets.
