Blank Rome Represents CMS Small-Cap Private Equity Fund in Acquisition

Blank Rome represented CMS Small-Cap Private Equity Fund in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Cedar Valley Exteriors, Inc., a Minnesota-based provider of residential and commercial roofing and building repair, in April 2008.  Debt financing was provided by M&I Marshall & Ilsley Bank.  The terms were not disclosed.  

 

Cedar Valley Exteriors serves 28 states and hundreds of counties throughout the United States.  

 

The CMS Small-Cap Private Equity Fund invests in entrepreneurs and their companies with a general focus on businesses with less than $10 million in cash flow. The fund is a direct private equity offering from CMS Companies, a Philadelphia investment firm that has helped entrepreneurs grow, manage and preserve their personal wealth for more than 35 years.
