Blank Rome Partner Sophia Lee will speak on two panels at the Philadelphia Bar Association's upcoming 2017 Bench-Bar & Annual Conference, held October 13-14, 2017, at the Borgata in Atlantic City.
Ms. Lee’s first panel, "Strategies for Combating Implicit Bias," will be held on Friday, October 13, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and is presented by the Diversity in the Profession Committee. This CLE session will offer strategies that firms, companies, and individuals can implement in order to overcome some of the obstacles associated with implicit bias. Panelists, while addressing ethical issues, will provide guidance and practical steps to counter the effects of implicit bias in the legal profession.
Her second panel, "The Relationship Blueprint: Consistent Communications to Ethically Develop a Prosperous Practice," will be held on Friday, October 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is presented The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia and City Policy Committee. Attendees will be able to explore the art of maintaining a trusting professional relationship with results, hear concrete insights on how to avoid common mistakes many attorneys make and how to ethically attract and retain clients, and learn keys to communication that demonstrate integrity.
