Responder Immunity Update

Spill Control Association of America Annual Meeting

Jonathan K. Waldron, partner at Blank Rome, will be presenting a "Responder Immunity Update" for the Spill Association of America's Annual Meeting, held March 7-9 at the Sheraton Suites in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia.

Mr. Waldron's presentation on March 8 from 10:10 a.m.-10: 45 a.m. will discuss lawsuits following the Deepwater Horizon incident, OPA 90, MDL and lawsuits against responders, industry reactions and initiatives, and the status of current legislation and Congressional actions.

The Annual Meeting will host keynote speakers from the government and business sectors, interactive panel discussions, a Capitol Hill day visit, and breakfasts, luncheons, and receptions.  Other topics highlighted during this meeting include updates on: NOAA, BSEE, Incident Management and Preparedness, Salvage and Marine Firefighting, Crisis Communications, Emergency Responder Training, Offshore EnviroHUB Enhanced Oil Recovery Effectiveness and Logistics, NIMS Certification, NPFC, ASTM F20, and NPFC Claims: Getting it Right to Maximize Recovery.
