Mr. Haller speaks on a panel discussing how retaliation claims have more than doubled in ten years, and how there seems to be no end in sight. Recent U.S. Supreme Court and Third Circuit Court opinions suggest that trend is likely to continue.
"Two things are making retaliation claims go through the roof," said Mr. Haller. "First, Burlington Northern and secondly, juries really don't like retaliation at work. Plaintiff's lawyers are seeing an opening here."
