Blank Rome Welcomes New Tax Associate in New York

Blank Rome LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew Woodman has joined the Firm as an associate in the Tax, Benefits, and Private Client group. He is based in the Firm’s New York office.

Mr. Woodman joins the Firm from Hunton & Williams LLP. He concentrates his practice in the area of business tax law. He counsels public and private corporations, partnerships, and individuals in a broad array of tax matters, including domestic and international tax matters; securitization tax matters; state and local tax matters; tax-efficient structuring of domestic and international mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, spin-offs, redemptions, and liquidations; and formation, operation, and acquisition of Subchapter S Corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies.

Admitted into practice in New York, Mr. Woodman earned his J.D., cum laude, from Albany Law School, where he served as a managing editor for symposia for the Albany Government Law Review. He earned his L.L.M. in International and Transactional Tax Law from Boston University School of Law, and his B.A. in Economics from New York University.
