Yelena Barychev Elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of The Forum of Executive Women of Greater Philadelphia

Blank Rome LLP Partner Yelena M. Barychev was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of The Forum of Executive Women of Greater Philadelphia, effective July 1. In addition to this new role, Ms. Barychev will chair The Forum’s Women in Executive Leadership and Governance Committee, which is dedicated to increasing the number of women serving on public company boards of directors and in the executive suites of regional companies.

Founded in 1977, The Forum of Executive Women is a membership organization of more than 450 influential women representing diverse businesses in the Greater Philadelphia region, and actively works to increase the number of women in leadership roles, expand their impact and influence, and position them to drive positive change in the Greater Philadelphia region. 

At Blank Rome, Ms. Barychev is a partner in the Corporate Governance practice group, representing U.S. and European companies in connection with business and corporate law matters, including board of directors responsibilities and executive compensation. In addition, she counsels nonprofit organizations. She writes and speaks frequently on securities compliance and corporate governance issues, and is a frequent contributor to Blank Rome's Securities News Watch blog. Ms. Barychev is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Middle Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals. She is also the treasurer and chairperson of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees of International House Philadelphia, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce.
