Adrienne C. Rogove Recognized as a 2013 NJ Woman Leader in Law

Adrienne C. Rogove has been recognized as one of New Jersey’s Women Leaders in the Law for 2013.  Ms. Rogove earned this recognition in honor of her demonstrated leadership in the legal industry and community as well as in the high quality representation that she provides for her clients.

Ms. Rogove is noted for her extensive commercial litigation experience, and her precedent setting victories in the New Jersey Appellate Division of the Superior Court and the New Jersey Supreme Court involving the proper standard of liability to be applied to governmental entities under the New Jersey Tort Claims Act.  Of particular mention was a victory she secured on behalf of her client, a public municipality, in which the Court considered the scope of the NJ 9-1-1 statute, determining that 9-1-1 operators and their public-entity employers are statutorily immune from civil liability for ordinary negligence in the handling of emergency calls.  This decision, favorable to all public entities in New Jersey, is likely to be cited and followed throughout the country since many states have similar 9-1-1 immunity statutes.

Law.com published this recognition as a Leading Lawyers supplement in the December 2013 editions of Inside Jersey and the Star-Ledger.  To view the full listing of New Jersey’s Women Leaders in the Law for 2013, click here.
