Margaret A. Hill Presents on Environmental Issues Related to the Marcellus Shale Development at Power Law 2010 Conference

Blank Rome Partner Margaret A. Hill will present at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Power Law 2010 Conference in Mechanicsburg, PA. Her presentation will take place on Friday, October 15, and will focus on the environmental issues related to the Marcellus Shale development.

The discovery two years ago that the Marcellus Shale is a High yield “super giant” gas field has led to increasing development of natural gas resources in Pennsylvania. The session titled “Marcellus Shale: Energy Game Changer?” will analyze the current and future impact of the drilling activity on natural gas producers, pipelines and public utilities, and on the price of electricity at both the retail and wholesale levels.

Ms. Hill has more than 20 years of experience representing private and public clients in all aspects of state and federal environmental law. At Blank Rome, she represents and counsels a broad range of clients in a wide array of industries including chemical and pharmaceutical companies, corporate and banking clients, cities and municipalities, mining companies, and developers. She is also a member of Blank Rome’s Marcellus Shale Team.
