Philadelphia Business Journal Ranks Dranoff Properties’ Transactions as Best Real Estate Deals of 2008

Blank Rome served as counsel to Dranoff Properties during the development of their new buildings, Venice Lofts and Symphony House.  Venice Lofts was ranked as a finalist in the Best Residential Project category and the Symphony House was ranked as Best Mixed Use.

The Symphony House will serve as both a condo complex and as a theater (SuzanneRobertsTheater) along Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts.  This is the first ever ground-up condo to open on the Avenue of the Arts, and takes up an entire city block.  The deal is valued at $125 million.

The Venice Loft property is entirely residential and is located in Philadelphia’s Manayunk neighborhood.  This is the first new large-scale residential community to open in Manayuk’s downtown section in a decade.  The deal is valued at $50 million.

“Best Real Estate Deals 2008” is found in the October 10–16, 2008 edition of the Philadelphia Business Journal.
