Until his retirement at the end of 2010, Mike Joseph concentrated his practice on corporate and securities transactions and complex litigation. He began his career in federal regulatory litigation and securities law working as an appellate and trial lawyer in the Office of the General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission. He was a founding partner of Dyer, Ellis & Joseph, a 42-attorney Washington DC–based corporate and maritime boutique law firm that merged with Blank Rome in 2003.
Mike continues as an active participant in the firm’s pro bono program, representing clients ranging from foreign nationals seeking asylum in the United States to individuals in the Washington DC community with a variety of domestic-relations and consumer-law problems.
