Robert Stein brings more than 35 years of experience to his financial services law practice. Bob represents leading institutional lenders, including major commercial banks, finance subsidiaries of banks, private equity groups, and independent factors and finance companies in areas such as:
- Cash flow and asset-based lending
- Unitranche, split collateral, first lien/second lien, and mezzanine financings
- Acquisition and leveraged recapitalization financing
- Factoring, receivables purchase arrangements, and other complex secured transactions
Bob also represents privately owned borrowers in financing transactions.
Bob has authored articles for the Uniform Commercial Code Law Journal, The Secured Lender, and the ABF Journal, and was cited in The Law of Secured Transaction under The Uniform Commercial Code. He is the author of a two-part article titled “Split Collateral Intercreditor Agreements: The Current State of Play” that appeared in the Spring 2014 issues of the ABF Journal.
Outside the Firm
Bob pursues biking and hiking activities in his leisure time and is an avid traveler.
