Thomas J. Szymanski’s labor and employment practice ranges from proactive counseling to litigation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Mr. Szymanski defends all types of labor and employment actions, including the defense of nationwide and single plaintiff wage-and-hour claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, and restrictive covenant matters.

Prior to joining Blank Rome, Mr. Szymanski served as a law clerk to the Honorable Timothy J. Savage of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Anthony J. Parrillo of the New Jersey Superior Court, Presiding Judge in the Appellate Division.

During law school, Mr. Szymanski served on the executive board of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy, and was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court. He received the Rutgers University Human Dignity Award and the Rutgers University School of Law Pro Bono Award for significant service.

Mr. Szymanski is fluent in Polish.
