Ms. Kim has industry experience with matters involving unfair competition, business torts, consumer class action, construction, employment, intellectual property, information reporting, and healthcare. She practices before federal and state courts in all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal.

Ms. Kim regularly represents clients in commercial litigation matters arising out of contractual disputes and real estate transactions.  Recent representative matters include representation of corporate clients in civil actions and government investigations for breach of contract, tortious interference, fraud, and conversion. Ms. Kim first-chaired an evidentiary hearing and obtained a successful outcome for her client, authored a winning appellate brief seeking reversal of a trial court’s refusal to grant an anti-suit injunction, and served as lead defense counsel in several cases involving the Fair Credit Reporting Act. She has also successfully used prejudgment remedies, including injunctions and receivers, to protect and realize collateral and facilitate settlement.

As a member of the consumer financial services team, Ms. Kim also regularly represents lenders and financial institutions in a variety of consumer finance litigation matters in federal and state court, including disputes under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, ECOA and FDCPA, state law UDAP claims, and a variety of common law claims.
