Colleen Carolan focuses her practice in labor and employment law. She has experience advising clients on disability and accommodation issues, leaves of absence, wage and hour matters, reorganizations, state and federal WARN Act implications and requirements, and immigration-related matters. Ms. Carolan also has experience defending employers in litigation of employment disputes as well as administrative and labor proceedings.
As a former in-house employment counsel for a Los Angeles-based entertainment company, Ms. Carolan partnered with and advised operating executives and management and human resources personnel, both domestically and internationally, concerning issues arising under federal, state, and international labor and employment laws.
Ms. Carolan also has experience conducting internal compliance audits, investigating and resolving employment-related claims, drafting agreements and policies that govern employment relationships, and conducting training on various employment-related matters including, sexual harassment awareness and prevention, and business ethics.
