Blank Rome partner Linda Kornfeld, who also serves as co-chair of the firm’s Insurance Recovery practice group, has been named a 2023 Leader of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Linda Kornfeld, Blank Rome partner and co-chair of its nationally recognized Insurance Recovery practice, has been referred to as “a card-carrying member of the ultra-elite club of insurance recovery specialists. She is at the top of the highly competitive, male-dominated insurance policyholder bar—one of only six women ranked nationally by Chambers USA. Recently, in a record TCPA private class action award, a team led by Kornfeld proved that an insurance policy limit is not a limit if the insurer fails to take its duties to its policyholder seriously.
After months of aggressive litigation in the bad faith case against the insurer, Kornfeld and her team played a central role as litigation coverage counsel in convincing the insurer to settle in July 2021 for a record $75.6 million. Kornfeld also represents the Philadelphia Eagles against FM Insurance under its $1 billion property/business interruption COVID-19 losses in Pennsylvania federal court.
