How the Law Impacts Your Small Business: Intellectual Property

Blank Rome partner Jon Grossman will serve as a presenter for the D.C. Bar Pro Bono Center’s How the Law Impacts Your Small Business course, a virtual eight-part series also hosted by the D.C. Department of Small & Local Business Development (“DSLBD”) and the D.C. Small Business Development Center (“DCSBDC”).

The course is designed for the non-attorney small business owner including sole proprietors, business partnerships, general managers, and owners of LLCs who seek to develop their capabilities. It provides an overview of setting up your business, contracts, employment law, risk/insurance, accounting, and intellectual property legal concerns.

John’s session, “How the Law Impacts Your Small Business: Intellectual Property,” will take place on Tuesday, January 17, and will provide an overview of the various types of intellectual property of concern to the small business owner.
