ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The market for collectibles has boomed over the past five years. A variety of startups, marketplaces, data providers, and investment platforms have launched to capitalize on the surge in demand. Panelists will discuss:

  • What financial principles apply to collectibles and what is specific and unique about these markets that make them distinct from financial assets?
  • What social and economic factors have driven the recent explosive growth?
  • Are the current market trends sustainable? What does the future look like for collectibles?
  • What considerations should be accounted for when acquiring a rare collectible?

The panel will answer questions during a live Q&A.
